$500,000 Bail Set for Man in Murder of Wife
A Victorville Municipal judge on Friday set bail at $500,000 for a La Canada Flintridge man charged this week with murdering his wife and allegedly setting the body on fire in a remote desert area.
Judge Anthony Piazza set the bail at the request of the Victorville district attorney’s office. The suspect, Don Miralle, 46, was arrested Wednesday by San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials after he returned home from the funeral for his wife, Tessie, 49. Arraignment was postponed until Oct. 10.
Miralle was being held late Friday at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
