Stockholders Sue Computer Systems Company: Stockholders filed two lawsuits against Teradata Corp. and officials of the El Segundo firm that manufactures fault-tolerant computer systems, alleging that they schemed to inflate the market price of Teradata’s stock by concealing the company’s true financial condition between Jan. 22 and Sept. 27. The federal lawsuits alleging securities violations assert that Teradata in April “downplayed (to shareholders) the stock market perception that Teradata was experiencing difficulties in its European operations.” (Case No.’s 90-5286, 90-5289. Filed Oct. 1.)
