Padres Announce Ticket Price Hike
The Padres announced Tuesday that they will increase ticket prices for all seats for the 1991 season.
All reserved seats will be increased by $1.50 and general admission tickets will be increased by $1.
“Padres tickets will continue to be among the lowest priced in major league baseball, with 18 of the 26 ball clubs charging prices equal to, or higher than, the Padres for their best seats,” club President Dick Freeman said in a statement. “A 1990 study shows that the total cost of attending a Padre game was the third lowest of any major league team. We will continue to be among the lowest in 1991.”
This is the second time in five seasons the Padres have increased ticket prices.
