The Lakers cut free agents Ken Redfield, Mario Elie and Phillip Holmes on Monday, trimming the roster to 15.
The remaining Lakers will meet an Israeli team, Maccabi Tel Aviv, tonight at 7:30 in the Forum.
Nadav Henefeld, last season’s Big East rookie of the year at Connecticut, plays for Maccabi. In addition, the Maccabi roster includes 6-foot-8 Ed Horton, a second-round pick of the Washington Bullets last year; Donald Royal, formerly of Notre Dame, and Willy Sims, a former Louisiana State player.
The Clippers conclude their four-game exhibition trip tonight against the Miami Heat.
The Clippers are 1-2 in the exhibition season, losing two games to the Detroit Pistons before beating Washington Sunday at Richmond, Va.
