Rainbow Technologies Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of computer security products reported that third-quarter net income rose 3% over the corresponding 1989 quarter, to $336,000 from $326,000. Revenue increased 14%, to $3.2 million from $2.8 million.

Net income totaled $1.5 million for the first nine months, up 36% from the $1.1 million posted a year earlier. Revenue climbed 26%, to $10.1 million from $8 million.
