He’s on his alma mater’s board of trustees and you’re not.

Comedian Chevy Chase was named to the board of trustees of Bard College this week by a unanimous vote.

Chase graduated from the liberal arts college north of New York City in 1968 and received an honorary doctor of arts degree from Bard last year when he spoke at its 130th commencement.

“I love Bard, and I’m glad to be part of it again,” Chase said of his latest honor.

Chase gained fame as one of the original cast members of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and later went on to star in movies such as “The Three Amigos” and the “Fletch” series.
