Alaska Air Group Inc.: The Seattle-based airline reported third-quarter net income of $19.7 million, off 16% from the same period of last year, on revenue of $295.7 million, up 10%. The company said fuel prices, which almost doubled during the quarter, were to blame for the lower profit.
