Sports Coverage Needs Level Playing Field

I was disturbed by the remarks made by Betty Cuniberti. I would no more want a woman to interview me while (I am) naked in a locker room than I would a man to interview my wife in that same situation. Notice I left out the word reporter because I don’t care what profession they may be.

I believe the locker room does have a lot to do with sex differences, and I can understand how uncomfortable some athletes and/or coaches may feel in these situations. Personally, I believe if things of this nature are going to rouse the equal rights movement with such causticity, sportswriting should be banned from the locker rooms.
