Cal State L.A. to Honor School Chief
The Friends of the School of Education, Cal State L.A., will honor William Anton, superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District and a Cal State-L.A. alumnus, at its first Distinguished Educator Award Dinner Nov. 2.
A permanently endowed scholarship will be established in Anton’s name and in the names of distinguished educators honored at future annual dinners.
This year’s event will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Almansor Court in Alhambra. Information: (213) 343-4300.
