San Diego Gas & Electric: The San Diego utility said a cost-reduction program helped boost third-quarter earnings to $52 million, up 3% from the same period a year ago. Revenue rose 7% to $452.1 million. Last year’s results were restated to exclude the operations of Mock Resources Inc., which was sold during the second quarter.
