Venture Alliance, Plating Company Merge

Venture Alliance Group of Santa Ana and Prime Plating Inc. of Los Angeles announced their merger Monday and said the new entity would focus on the acquisition and consolidation of electroplating firms.

The new company, Prime Industries of Santa Ana, will employ about 90 people and have annual revenues of more than $3 million.

Rudy A. Berti, president and chief executive of the new firm, said he plans to bring technical and waste management expertise to the electroplating industry, which he described as “crippled with poorly managed companies.” He said many firms are hurt by a lack of self-regulation and by a lack of knowledge of federal environmental requirements.
