Supervisor Hahn Goes Home From Hospital

Veteran Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn was sent home Monday following a three-day hospital stay for what an aide said was a bout with flu-like symptoms.

The 70-year-old Hahn, who suffered a stroke in 1987 that left him partially paralyzed and in a wheelchair, “is responding well to an adjustment in his medication and is expected to rest at home for about one week,” said Hahn spokeswoman Lynn Sakamoto.

Hahn was admitted to Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital on Friday complaining of “chest discomfort.”

“The supervisor did not have a heart attack,” Sakamoto said.
