Pasadena : Shelter’s 1st Anniversary

More than 200 people are expected to attend the one-year anniversary of the opening of Union Station Foundation’s $1.2-million shelter at 412 S. Raymond Ave. Thursday.
An open house will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Executive Director Bill Lane Doulos will speak at 6 p.m. The public is invited.
The shelter feeds up to 225 people daily and houses 56 each night. It also provides health screening, literacy tutoring, art classes and counseling.
