Charter Oak Joins in Interracial Workshop
The National Conference of Christians and Jews and Charter Oak High School in Covina will hold an interracial workshop for students Thursday through Saturday at Camp Max Straus in Glendale. The workshop is designed to assist students, faculty and administrators break down racial and ethnic stereotyping.
Last year, Charter Oak joined Alhambra High School, San Gabriel High School and Mark Keppel High School of the Alhambra City High School District in the program, designed to ease racial tensions on campuses.
