World IN BRIEF : VENEZUELA : Army Raids Illegal Jungle Gold Mines
Soldiers raided illegal gold mines in the Amazon jungle and arrested more than 300 people, mostly foreigners, Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Minister Reinaldo Figueredo said.
