Retort From the Other Side

Michael Robbins makes it appear as though his little enclave is the only crime-free area in all of Sepulveda. And I do not appreciate his making it seem as though all of Sepulveda east of the San Diego Freeway is full of drugs and prostitution. I live in a very quiet and crime-free two-block area east of the freeway.

Can we join his new Mecca, his new utopia that promises to not have any of the problems the old Sepulveda had. Why don’t we go door-to-door in Sepulveda and find out who is making this city look bad and label those homes as being Sepulveda and the rest of us will be North Hills.

This may send shock waves through you, Mr. Robbins, but I have relatives who live in South-Central Los Angeles in a nice area, free of crime and gangs. Maybe they should consider becoming Central Hills or South Canyon?

If you or any of your people who signed the petition cared about this community you should be trying to bring down the barricades that you stood in front of instead of putting up another.
