Trust Co. of the West, Los Angeles, has promoted Philip A. Barach and Sheldon Stone to managing directors. Barach has been senior vice president-mortgage-backed securities and specialized cash. Stone was previously senior vice president of the high-yield department. In addition, Jeffrey E. Gundlach has been named senior vice president and Barry Kurokawa and Brian T. Mahoney vice presidents.
