. . . Fox Broadcasting’s “Robin Hood,” with Patrick Bergin as the legendary outlaw and Uma Thurman as Maid Marian, has started shooting in England under director John Irvin. Executive producer John McTiernan was originally to direct the film as a theatrical release worldwide--until Morgan Creek announced plans for “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” with Kevin Costner. Fox will air its film on TV here and in theaters abroad.
