Technology Marketing Appoints New President

Guntis Melbardis has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Technology Marketing Inc., succeeding George Wells, who had been acting in that capacity for the past several months.

Previously, Melbardis was group vice president for Flextronics Inc., an electronic contract manufacturer.

He was formerly chairman and chief executive of MCM Industries Inc., and before that, held several management positions with Texas Instruments Inc.

Technology Marketing, of Irvine, provides high technology automatic test equipment, magnetic tape certification systems and custom engineering and development services.
