Getting the Drop on Paint-Ball Games

Share

Your article on paint-ball games failed to mention one very important point: vandalism in our local national forests and foothill areas.

As an employee of the U.S. Forest Service, I have seen first hand the damage that paint-ball players have done in the Angeles National Forest. In areas frequented by players, there are paint marks everywhere on rocks and trees. For those who like to bicycle and hike in these areas, it is an eyesore.

If paint-ball players want to vandalize their own private battlefields, fine, but the rest of us would prefer that they not vandalize our public lands.
