Reopen for Business: The $6-million renovation of the Atrium Court at Fashion Island in Newport Center will be celebrated over four days starting next Thursday.
The Atrium Court has been redone with new decor, tile, fountains and other embellishments. One of the biggest beneficiaries is the Farmers Market, a decidedly upscale supermarket that calls itself a “contemporary food emporium.” The newly enlarged Farmers Market will offer new services such as a “Customer Adviser Desk” to handle special orders and to mail gift baskets. The market will also have its own juice bar.
The Nov. 15 event will be also include a benefit for Young Professionals Against Cancer that will feature New Orleans-style rhythm-and-blues musician Dr. John.
