Tennis Tournament Hits Newport Beach
Stan Smith, Bob Lutz and John Lloyd highlight the field at the Prudential Bache Grand Championship at the Newport Beach Tennis Club starting today and continuing through Sunday.
The Grand Championships, a circuit for players 35 and older, will feature two sessions each today, Friday and Saturday, one at noon and the second at 5:30 p.m. The final will be Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Grand Championships is the eighth stop in a nine-tournament season.
