PARIS —
Bob McAdoo, an American mainstay in Italian basketball, still finds playing a passion despite being sent down to the minors from the first division.
McAdoo, 39, a three-time NBA scoring champion and NBA rookie of the year in 1972-73, recently was sold to a third division team after four seasons at Philips Milan, where he scored more than 4,200 points.
“I really haven’t decided what I am going to do with my life,” McAdoo said. “So I am still playing basketball.”
