Budget Request
We really enjoy reading the Sunday Travel Section, and the Oct. 21 Traveling in Style magazine was a treat . . . particularly for the more affluent of our society.
The travel articles are exciting even when we do not participate in these trips, but with a little imagination and a great deal of wishing, we very often project ourselves into these exotic places.
It may be my imagination, but I seem to feel that travel has become too expensive for some of us who did do a great deal of coming and going . . . both overseas and recently in the United States.
Please find more bargains for those of us who have strong desires to travel and not enough dollars to go to places where the rich and famous go and enjoy. I am just now referring to a column about New Orleans that I saved from either 1988 or 1989. Hope to visit there within the next few weeks. Checking out Jerry Hulse’s recommendations.
