Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Co. in Burbank won a $2.5-million contract from the Defense Plant Representative Office to provide support equipment. Lockheed also won a $1.6-million contract from the Navy to provide aircraft components and accessories. Lockheed was awarded a $1.18-million contract from the Navy to provide kit installation.

The Navy awarded Lockheed Aeronautical Systems a series of other contracts: $896,000 to provide support equipment; $348,408 to provide aircraft components and accessories; $300,394 to provide retrofit kits for trainers; $275,000 to supply technical manuals; $221,478 to provide aircraft components spares; $183,941 to provide technical manuals and $180,000 to provide repair of government-owned material.
