Voters OK of Term Limits

I’m a life-long Democrat and have worked in politics for years. I voted for term limitations. Does Sen. Presley really believe that the people in Sacramento now are the only people capable of running his state? Give me a break! The legislators do not do the research on the issues. They read the words given them by their staff members or by the lobbyist who has seen them last.

If Presley knows what a “Medi-Cal fiscal intermediary” is, so will anyone else who is properly informed. It is this kind of arrogance on the part of our legislators that brought about passage of Proposition 140.
