Power Lunch Wins at Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Power Lunch took the lead at the top of the stretch and held off Sluki to win the $30,580 featured Alquest purse by a half-length Tuesday at Churchill Downs.
The winner, ridden by Aaron Gryder, covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:47 and paid $3.40, $3 and $2.60.
The victory was the 3-year-old’s fourth in 13 starts this year. Power Lunch, owned by Calumet Farm, earned $20,377, increasing his winnings to $170,085.
