LOCAL : L.A. Ticket Wins $22.7 Million

One lucky ticket purchased in Los Angeles won the $22.7-million jackpot in Wednesday night’s “Lotto 6-53” game, California Lottery officials said today.
There were seven tickets with five numbers plus the bonus number, each winning $795,991. The tickets were purchased in Salinas, San Pablo, Oakland, Rowland Heights, Oceanside, El Cajon and Diamond Bar.
There were 165 tickets with five of six numbers, each winning $4,853. Those tickets share a $795,990 prize pool.
