RUNWAY TO REALITY : Reining In High Costs of Being a Montana Man

Share

Being the perfectly dressed Montana man can mean some pretty heavy commitments on your credit cards. The wool sport jacket pictured here by French designer Claude Montana is $1,100, and his wool gabardine pants are $350, both at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills. The hooded sweater in white wool, a winter answer to the T-shirt, is available for $600 at Montana boutique on Rodeo Drive.

To dress for less but still get the look, start with the well-tailored, four-button, olive-wool gabardine sport jacket, $295, from Politix stores. The black, cotton/rayon, double-pleated pants by Willi Wear are $38.95 at Caliber in West Hollywood. The classic hooded sweat shirt in white cotton is $15 at Ross Dress for Less.

To complete the picture, add brown leather gloves, $16, from Ross Dress for Less and Robert LaHaye’s laughing skull pins in pewter, $30 each at Ice in Beverly Hills.
