A mistrial was declared in the drunk driving case of former “Taxi” co-star Jeff Conaway, who faced felony charges stemming from an accident that injured a bicyclist.

Conaway, 40, of Hollywood Hills was ordered Thursday by Superior Court Judge Sara Radin to return to court in Santa Monica Dec. 3 for a pretrial conference. The jury deadlocked 8-4 in favor of acquittal.

Prosecutors say Conaway was driving drunk Feb. 23 when his Porsche, traveling at more than 60 m.p.h. on Santa Monica Boulevard, slammed into the back of Farid Farhan’s bicycle.

Farhan’s leg was broken and he required 15 stitches on his head.

Deputy Dist. Atty. Lydia Delgadillo said two tests indicated the actor’s blood-alcohol level at the time of the collision was 0.15% and 0.16%. The legal limit is 0.08%.

Defense attorney Anthony Brooklier contended that Farhan was struck by another vehicle.
