President Bush Orders More Troops to Iraq
Here we go again! No bombing of Iraqi cities, no atomic weapons. Just a prolonged, politically constrained, half-hearted ground war in which thousands of American lives are sacrificed for an inconclusive Korean stalemate or another Vietnam humiliation. We are heading for a war that can tear apart our country and alienate most of our so-called allies. Why can we never learn from our mistakes?
