A special election to fill the City Council seat vacated by the death of Councilman Robert De Cocker will be held March 5, the council decided Tuesday.
De Cocker, who died Oct. 19 from complications arising from a brain tumor, was elected to the council in April, 1988.
Would-be candidates may file between Dec. 6 and 27, City Clerk Janice Warner said. The term will expire in April, 1992.
