Two mini-pickup trucks collided in Granada Hills on Sunday evening, injuring five people, three seriously, the Los Angeles City Fire Department reported.

Firefighters used a hydraulic rescue device to free a 20-year-old woman trapped in one of the vehicles, officials said. The woman, who was not identified, was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills with serious injuries.

Two men, ages 20 and 41, were transported to Northridge Hospital Medical Center in serious condition, fire department spokesman Greg Acevedo said. Two other men, ages 46 and 34, suffered minor injuries and were being treated at Granada Hills Community Hospital, he said.
