Daiwa Bank Buys Lippo Bank Stake: The giant Japanese bank said it will buy 9.8% of Lippo Bank California for $1.5 million. Daiwa will become the fourth-largest shareholder in Lippo Bank, which has four branches in the state. The bank is part of Lippo Group in Indonesia.
