Pillsbury Opens Costa Mesa Office

California’s oldest and largest law firm has opened its first office in Orange County near South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

San Francisco-based Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro has placed nine attorneys in the local office, some of whom will work on real estate and environmental law.

Pillsbury is scheduled to merge Jan. 1 with Los Angeles-based Lillick & McHose, which will make the resulting firm the sixth largest in the country.
