Altadena : Children’s Shelter Backed
The Town Council voted Tuesday to support a proposal to create a short-term residential shelter for neglected or abused infants and young children.
Lorraine Castro, executive director of the Bienvenidos Children’s Center in West Covina, told the Town Council that the center, if approved by the county, will occupy a former YMCA site at 183 E. Palm St.
