Elephant Man: Kevin Nealon of “Saturday Night Live” is trying to help out a 40-year-old Indian elephant in his hometown of Milwaukee. The Milwaukee County Zoo exiled Lota the elephant to a training facility in Illinois after she acted aggressively toward another elephant and had become a problem for zookeepers. But Nealon thinks she should be allowed to stay at the zoo, where she has lived most of her life. “Our plan is to expose what’s going on by doing interviews and telling people to call (officials) and to notify other people in the entertainment business who can bring this to people’s attention,” said Nealon, who is a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
