Share

Los Angeles city planners will present an overview of a proposed coastal land use plan for the Venice area at an informational meeting next Tuesday.

The long overdue document, required by the California Coastal Act, includes goals for future development of the area as well as provisions for ensuring public access to the shoreline. The plan also details how the city intends to provide recreational and visitor facilities in the coastal area.

The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Venice High School auditorium, 13000 Venice Blvd.
