Bennett Opposes Affirmative Action Goals
Bennett’s position on affirmative action should be the least of the complaints minorities have against him. The policies he created as drug czar will guarantee that fully one-half of all of America’s young black men, and about one-fourth of America’s young Latinos, will go to prison by the year 2000. In some areas of the country these goals have already been reached. His policies will do more damage to minorities than any public policy since slavery.
