NEW YORK —
The New York Daily News, fighting to bring back advertisers and regain circulation lost in a six-week-long strike, has launched its first afternoon edition in nine years.
Street hawkers distributed 30,000 copies of the initial press run Tuesday. The tabloid had blue ink across the top and bottom of the front page to distinguish it from morning editions.
