Ten San Gabriel Valley residents are among the 90 winners of the RTD’s “People Moving L.A. Into the ‘90s” contest. The winners submitted ideas on how to improve traffic, mobility and transportation. Criteria used to choose the best suggestions included ease of implementation, innovation, community benefit, resources required and anticipated success.
The winners are Jan Dell, Arcadia; Dave Jontz, South Pasadena; Donald Krug, Temple City; Peggy Moffett, Covina; Sally Pickett, Hacienda Heights; Ally and George Welzell , San Gabriel, and John Root, Craig F. Thompson and Grace F. Thompson, all of Pasadena.
