NATION : 7 Killed, 50 Hurt in Tenn. Pileup

CALHOUN, Tenn. —
At least seven people were reported killed and 50 injured in a 50-vehicle pileup this morning on a fogbound Interstate 75.
Wrecked cars, some of them burning, littered a five-mile stretch of the Knoxville-to-Chattanooga interstate hours after the 9:30 a.m. accident.
Some troopers responding to the massive pileup were overcome by fumes from a burning truck.
