MCA Settles Suits: MCA said it settled five of six shareholder lawsuits that had challenged the company’s agreement to be acquired by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. for $6.59 billion. The Universal City company declined to discuss details of the settlements or to say which suit remained. A company spokeswoman said the settlements would not affect an antitrust suit filed against Matsushita in Arizona by Go-Video, a small electronics company that has accused the Japanese electronics giant of illegally restraining trade through the acquisition.
