California IN BRIEF : PITTSBURG : Bus Driver Denies Drunk Charge

A bus driver pleaded innocent to being drunk at the wheel and breaking the jaw of a passenger who tried to take command. Kenneth Webb, 34, pulled his jacket over his head and kept it there when he appeared before Delta Municipal Judge Gerald Belleci. Webb, who was driving under a contract with Laidlaw Transit Co., faces trial on charges of felony battery, misdemeanor drunk driving and having an open container of alcohol in the bus.
