VTN Corp.: The Orange-based engineering and consulting company said its second-quarter earnings rose 23% to $918,044 from $748,728 for the year-earlier period. Revenue was flat at $3.1 million. For the six months ended Nov. 30, earnings declined 29% to $930,592 from $1.3 million for the first six months last year. Revenue fell 15% to $5.1 million from $6 million.
