6 Held in Drug Case, Including O.C. Man
Six people, including the manager of a Placentia chemical supply company, were indicted on drug charges by a federal grand jury, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.
The indictment accused three of the defendants of providing laboratory supplies and chemical ingredients to their co-defendants, who allegedly used them to produce methamphetamine.
One defendant, Thomas M. Schultz, is general manager of Chem Labs, a Placentia business that allegedly suppled chemicals and equipment to the ring, Assistant U.S. Atty. Amalia Lupe Meza said.
Schultz, 32, is being held on separate charges in Yankton, S.D., Meza said.
Also charged with supplying chemicals were Robert Grimsley, 33, of Ontario; George Khoury, 32, of Riverside.
Jerry Barrow, 59, of Sun City and Robert Templeton, 55, and his wife, Judy, both of Lihue, Hawaii.
