BREA : Sobriety Check on Imperial Highway

In an attempt to reduce holiday drunk driving accidents, police will operate a sobriety checkpoint on Imperial Highway tonight.
Westbound traffic at Arovista Avenue will be screened from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
The police are concentrating on Imperial Highway because 39% of the city’s drunk driving accidents this past year occurred there, police officials said.
