Police Seize Man Climbing Down Statue of Liberty

NEW YORK — A man lowered himself by rope down the Statue of Liberty and was finally arrested when officers set up ropes of their own and grabbed him about 40 feet off the ground.
Mark Randall was charged with disorderly conduct and demonstrating without a permit.
