A 13-year-old girl was recovering from bullet wounds after a masked gunman opened fire on her and two friends on a Brooklyn street because he wanted their nylon jackets, authorities said. The violence brought to 10 the number of people shot over a coat in the New York area this month. Five have died. The girl in the latest incident was treated for a bullet wound to the thigh.
