RAMS : Robinson Happy With Gary’s Game

Share

Ram Coach John Robinson said he was impressed with the way tailback Cleveland Gary ran Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Gary, who didn’t start for the second game in a row because of his fumbling problems this year, was the Rams’ leading rusher with 39 yards in 14 carries. He also scored his 15th touchdown of the season.

“He ran up to the level he’s always run--just didn’t fumble,” Robinson said. “I mean, he’s run well all season. There are no times that I think people walked off and said, ‘Yeah, that guy’s not a good runner.’

“We all clearly got focused on the fumbles.”

Gary has not fumbled in the Rams’ past two games.
